Link data: destination URLs, custom aliases, QR codes, expiry dates, and password protection settings you create.
Usage & analytics data: click counts, timestamps, approximate location, referrer, browser, and device type for links you create, used to power the analytics dashboard.
Technical data: IP address and standard server logs, collected for security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection (e.g. via Cloudflare Turnstile CAPTCHA).
Payment data: if you purchase Premium, payment details are collected and processed directly by Paddle.com; we do not store your full card or payment information ourselves.

3. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account and provide the Service;
To process payments and manage subscriptions via Paddle;
To send essential transactional emails (e.g. password resets, account notices) via our email provider, Resend;
To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
To improve and maintain the reliability of the Service.

4. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use essential cookies and local session tokens to keep you logged in and to secure the Service. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We share limited data with trusted third parties strictly to operate the Service:

Paddle.com — payment processing and billing (Merchant of Record);
Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, security, and bot/CAPTCHA protection (Turnstile);
Resend — delivery of transactional emails.

These providers process data only as necessary to perform their services and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and link data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

We use industry-standard measures, including password hashing and encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL), to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
