1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Md Amjad Hossain, the sole proprietor operating CutXO under the domain cutxo.com ("we", "us", "our", "the Service"). By creating an account, shortening a link, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
CutXO is a URL shortening platform that allows users to create shortened links, custom aliases, QR codes, and to view click analytics for those links. We offer a free plan with usage limits and a paid Premium plan with expanded features, billed and processed through our payment partner, Paddle.com (Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases made on the Service).
3. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or make a purchase.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use CutXO to create, host, or redirect to links that:
- Distribute malware, phishing pages, or other malicious software;
- Contain or promote child sexual abuse material, or exploit or endanger minors in any way;
- Infringe on the intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights of any third party;
- Facilitate spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or fraudulent schemes;
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation;
- Promote violence, terrorism, hate speech, or discrimination.
We reserve the right to disable, delete, or block any link or account, without prior notice, that we reasonably believe violates this Acceptable Use policy.
5. Plans, Pricing & Payments
The free plan includes a limited number of links as configured on the Service. The Premium plan unlocks additional features (such as API access and higher link limits) for a recurring or one-time fee, as displayed at the time of purchase. All payments are processed securely by Paddle.com, our authorized payment processor and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, taxes, and invoicing on our behalf, and its own terms of use and privacy policy also apply to your transaction.
6. Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Link Expiry, Suspension & Data
We may set expiry dates on links (particularly on the free plan), disable links that violate these Terms, or suspend accounts for abuse, non-payment, or fraudulent activity. We do our best to maintain uptime and link availability but do not guarantee that any shortened link will remain active indefinitely.
8. Intellectual Property
The CutXO name, logo, website design, and underlying software are the property of Md Amjad Hossain. You retain ownership of the destination URLs and content you submit, but you grant us a limited license to store, redirect, and display that data as necessary to operate the Service.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Md Amjad Hossain and CutXO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which Md Amjad Hossain resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your own country provide otherwise.
